CITY ALARM WIRELESS SECURITY

At City Alarm, we have been installing security systems for over 20 years. We have installed both wireless and hardwired systems, and over the years the wireless technology has improved dramatically since it's introduction, gone are the days where the wireless system would interfere with your neighbours garage door opener. In fact, today's Wireless systems that we provide virtually never experience problems and customers enjoy the many benefits from wireless features that are not available with hardwired. As a result of this finding, the demand for wireless systems have increased dramatically.

FINISHED STRUCTURES

One immediate advantage of a wireless system is quicker installation, which requires very minimal drilling for wires, and is often completed in one day. Hardwire installations can take several days and necessitate drilling many holes to run wires throughout the building (under floors, over ceilings, through walls, etc.), which adds the risk of damage to existing electrical wiring or water pipes, even to the extent of depletion of the insulation rating of your outside walls.

BUILDINGS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Although hardwire installations during construction do not have to deal with the mess of drilling through existing drywall, there may be other costs and problems you didn't count on.

Because hardwire systems require hundreds of feet of wire sealed inside the floors, ceilings, and walls of your new home, there are several wire related problems that could occur.
